I have moved several times in the last 10 years. Have tried everything. BY FAR, the best moving experience ever. They were flexible to change the moving date due to an unexpected event, they respect the quote they gave me during the video call. The people at the office were as incredible as James and Oscar (pic below), who did an amazing job on the field. They showed up in time at the picking place and they delivered exactly on time in a different state at the very next day. They went above and beyond, not a single glass was broken and they even offered to help with things once everything was set up. The truck was immaculate and their uniforms too. Moving is never fun, but for sure this company and that crew will make things easier for you. Would give 10 stars if I could!

The move went smoothly. The movers were early, and they took care of business in a timely manner. They saved me a lot of money because time was not wasted. I appreciate New Latitude and your work ethics. Both times that I’ve worked with New latitude, it has been a smooth operation and things were handled in a professional manner. Once again, thank you for your efficiency and it was greatly appreciated!

This was the best moving experience ever. Team leader, Mike, was exceptional. His crew were friendly, organized, great team players and we could tell they really enjoyed their work.

The whole move went according to plan. Mike made sure that any and every request we made of him was never too much for him to adjust to. His attitude was consistently, “whatever you need from us.”

I can’t say enough good things about them and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a smooth and well planned move.

Had a great experience with the New Latitude team today. Only a three-mile move (plus storage unit stopover), but still an 8+-hour day in the “August in Alabama” heat. Throughout, tho, Mike, Oscar, Joe, Shawn and Tom somehow remained professional, courteous and personable. Two stories and a LOT of furniture were no match for this crew. Couldn’t be happier with our experience. The communication was prompt and friendly from start to finish. The movers arrived early, worked quickly, willing to wrap and pack anything we needed, and they were done early! We won’t use any other movers and would highly recommend them!!

I had a total of six guys helping between packing and loading/unloading. Every single one of the worked hard, was polite and professional, and took great care with my things. They were so fast too! I’ve never had a smoother moving experience.

I had a fantastic experience with New Latitude Moving Company. The three movers arrived right on time and started with a quick walkthrough to see what needed to be moved. They wrapped my sectional and carefully boxed up my TV, taking great care with everything.

This was a multi-stop move, and they made the whole process smooth and stress-free. They even offered to help rearrange furniture and set up my washer and dryer, which I really appreciated. Professional, efficient, and super courteous. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future if needed.

Absolutely lovely guys, turned up right on time and nothing was too much trouble, they did a fantastic job and my home move went really smoothly thanks to them. I would have complete confidence to book them again, even with fragile items I found them completely safe and trustworthy. Very fair and reasonable price and they really went the extra mile.

Guys were top class. Moved a really heavy handmade chest of draws in to a difficult position in our office. No fuss and made light work of it. I will be using again and couldn’t recommend more, both guys were friendly chatty and very professional.

Daniel and Jordan were AMAZING with our move today, and seriously were a DREAM TEAM! Not only did they navigate our huge driveway slope (a mini mountain), but they were so careful with all our items from the basement and upstairs. They helped us load a U-Haul truck in 1/2 the time compared to our estimated quote time! Daniel helped us previously when we moved into our house, and it was a true blessing to have him help us move out. We can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was and we will continue to use Two Men & A Truck for all our moves! Highly recommend!!

This was our 5th time using Two Men And A Truck and we could not recommend them more highly. From the office staff to the movers, they are so professional. They make getting rates, booking the move, getting updates and the move itself so easy. Every time we have used them the movers were so quick that they were done 3+ hours before we expected. We would never dream of using a different moving company, we couldn’t recommend them more highly! Thank you Two Men And A Truck for making all of our moves easier and more efficient!

We have used two men and a truck four times in the past. Each time was a great experience. This last experience will have me looking for another company. The movers struggled moving the furniture. This had not been my experience in the past. I didn’t realize how badly they had struggled until I saw the floor, walls and ceilings after they had left. I get that accidents happen. The part I can’t forgive is that they were not upfront about it. Didn’t say anything about it, just asked for payment and left. To make matters worse, we just had the walls and ceilings painted two weeks prior.

Rebuttal:
No, you all haven’t been able to come to an understanding on the situation. You stated to us that your employees have worked for your company for years and that they have no reason to lie to you. Your employee stories changed from the time of the accident to when they reported the accident to you all. As I mentioned to you on the call on April 29, 2025, I was on the phone with my sister when Nick walked over to her to tell her about the damage. That’s when I stated over the phone to him that accidents happen and he then replied, but that’s an accident that should not have happened. In your response you stated that your employees don’t lie and insinuated that we must be lying. Yes, I’ve used this same company twice in the past for my sister’s furniture and both of those times I was in Birmingham and orchestrated the move. I wasn’t present on the 24th, but with this move your employees didn’t even bother to wrap the TVs or any of her furniture, they just picked it up and walked it over. With the past moves, your employees wrapped her TVs to protect them while moving. Yes, the first two times when I was there it went smoothly because I was present and completely orchestrating every inch of the move, so carelessness was avoided by your employees, thus me giving your company a third chance. Yes, Daniel called on April 29, 2025, and the tone was accusatory then as well, as if my sister or the caregiver had moved the TVs and caused the damage. I never agreed with you at any point that our evidence did not support what happened. As far as the purchase details I stated to you all that her 85-inch TV was purchased for $3000 in 2023 and the year could have been an oversight on her part, so maybe it was 2022, but the price of what was paid was the same. You all asked me to provide receipts, I stated that I packed her house up in February of 2024 after she suffered a spinal cord injury and that there was no way I could possibly know where any receipts may have been packed and that she was limited to what she could do in her current predicament, and that I am not in Birmingham, AL to even attempt to look through boxes in her storage unit for any receipts. You know your offer of $340 was an insult and based on your own words you see the manufacturer sticker and can price those televisions to see that $340 would not buy either of them even if they were manufactured in 2021 and 2023 and purchased in 2022 or 2023 or 2024. Those televisions were purchased with hard-earned money and your employee’s negligence damaged them. With or without a receipt for her two televisions (85 and 65 inches) that were moved from her previous place to the new place, they belonged to her, they were her property listed on your company’s Estimate Detail form for items to be moved. I implore you as an owner to do right by those that hire and entrust you with their valuable assets to have them replaced once damaged by your employees. Oh, and what’s regrettable, is the fact that you all provided decent services in February and July of 2024, when I was physically there to watch every move made by your employees, but when my disabled sister and her caregiver, two women of color were there without a man present, this situation happened. I ordered two new televisions for my disabled sister on April 30, 2025, to replace the two that your employee damaged. To reiterate, you stated to us that your employees don’t lie and in the same breath insinuated that my sister, the caregiver, and I do, or that we must. We have no reason to make up stories for you or anyone else, we provided actual accounts of that day. I entrusted your company with my disabled sister’s property. My expectations were that your company the one I had used prior would protect my disabled sister assets and if any damages had occurred during the move by the hands of your employees, that you would right any wrongs. $340 will never suffice. Did you ever ask your oh so honest employees why they put both TVs in the same room? The 85-inch was in the LR and 65-inch was in the BR prior to the move.

The team did a great job! Caleb, Jordan, Daniel, Alex and John were super nice, friendly and did a great job moving our belongings locally. They were organized and had a plan. Throughout the day, they kept me posted about the progress and next steps items. They worked as a team to handle oversized items, Our furniture was well taken care of. They arranged the furniture based as we requested and was made suggestion for better placement. I would recommend your service and this team.

Will and Hunter were timely, polite and moved quickly ( when you are paying by the hour that’s important). They faced a challenge with a narrow stairwell & a large dresser & mastered it with no damage to my home or the dresser. The total charge was a little less than the minimum estimate, which was also appreciated.

I booked Best Man and Van for delivery of only a small bench that needed collection from Facebook Marketplace. However, the quality of service was incredible. Not only was he willing to do a late afternoon, last minute job, but his prices were very fair. On top of this, due to issues with the Facebook seller he very kindly allowed me to transfer over some cash to give to the seller to pick up the bench. He kept me well updated on all the steps of the pick up and drop off so I was never unsure of what was happening and he arrived bang on time for the pick up. If you need a delivery/collection service, I could not recommend Best Man and Van more, they were absolutely fantastic and they have my biggest thanks for all their help!

“Lucky”, as he likes to call himself is dependable and trustworthy. In my most recent Home removal on Sunday 06/02/21, he transported my personal items over 200 miles without me being personally present, and he arrived at my requested location on time as promised, with my items safe and intact.

Second time with best man and van, after a great first experience. Lucky and his crew helped my partner and I move from our storage unit into our flat. All sorted within 3 hours (we had a massive 10mx10m storage unit and live on the top floor), including disposal of a few pieces of furniture. His team were efficient, helpful and very careful around the flat. Great rates compared to other competitors too, quote matched final payment. Quick to respond to messages, would recommend. I needed a waste removal and not only did I get reply within minutes, they were able to collect within a couple of hours the same day. Excellent communication throughout, very fair prices and exceptional service, including the drivers that did all the heavy lifting. I even used again a few days later for a second one. what an incredible company! After a few calls to different waste collection companies with awful customer service & ridiculous quotes I stumbled across this absolute GEM . I sent a watts app which was picked up in minutes & the customer service was so slick & professional I had a quote in minutes which was £200 for 8 hair salon chairs to be collected, all organised super quick. I was on a tight time schedule which they promised they could fulfill and also had lots of ways of payment! I chose to use their card machine on collection 🙂 This company messaged me to confirm everything too & were so prompt on collection with no fuss or messing about! The guy who came to collect was so lovely and accommodating a pleasure ! I must say I am so impressed with this company & will definitely use them again! Had an amazing experience with these guys today – they arrived bang on time, were really friendly & respectful throughout and did a fantastic job moving us out of our 5th floor Birmingham flat to our new home in Huddersfield. I was very impressed with the speed the guys worked when we moved within Sutton Coldfield area. They were on time. They did not complain once! We had a lot of flower pot which I was a bit worried about how they will be handled but everything arrived safely and placed where we wanted them to be.

I can see why this guys have all the good reviews. We used them on the 31 march and they impressed me how well they handled our move. They are also very friendly group of people and did the job well.

Great service from the guys today. I moved from a 3rd floor flat, so there was lots of waiting for the lift but that didn’t phase them, they worked really hard and carried a lot of very heavy furniture and that had to navigate my new tiny staircase. The company was very accommodating. The two young men who did the move were absolutely charming and polite but doing a weekend job so they were quite slow. Again no problem. The actual amount for the move seemed good value until unknown extras were added in and the hourly rate was different from that first agreed on. As it was bank holiday weekend I did send an extra £100 as a tip fir the boys though I had paid f been asked to pay cash upfront after sending a £200 deposit.The vehicle was fine and boys great…… I just think you shoukd check payment details.

I found this service via Google search. I texted and they replied in good time. Very polite and professional. I needed a single ottoman bed transporting from Peterborough to Kettering. It was easy to arrange. There was a little misunderstanding on the first transport that arrived but it was replaced and as expected without any issues. Midlands Removal representative was very apologetic and very quick to resolve. I definitely recommend this service and would use them again.

Absolutely terrible. Broken dishes and bowls that had been correctly bubble wrapped – a whole box full of chipped and broken mugs that had all been wrapped. Unpacked them to find this out, sent a picture to the company as evidence and they refused compensation because they said it didnt have bubble wrap in the picture! It is quite difficult to unwrap stuff and find it is broken without first removing the wrapping. Absolute conmen – avoid at all costs or have your belongings broken with no recompense.

Terrible Experience – Damaged, Stolen, and Lost Items!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands down the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. Not only did they break several items due to careless handling, but they also left belongings on the road, “lost” furniture and other stuff.

Boxes arrived damaged, some completely missing, and a few pieces of furniture mysteriously disappeared. When we tried to address these issues, the company was completely unhelpful and dismissive. Moving is already stressful enough—do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs!

John and the administrative staff were extremely helpful throughout the booking process and the completion of the service. I highly recommend IMG Removals!

Do not believe the reviews you read here like I did. This company is atrocious. I was booked for 12pm today. I waited until 1215pm and called up to ask why there was a delay. I was promised a call back which when it did was a manager who was extremely defensive with a poor attitude. She said their driver had been in an accident and there would be a 1.30hr delay. When I explained how much this messed up my house moving plans for the day, she said they only had the accident on the way to me a few mins prior which means they were already late. She only offered to reduce £5 an hour off the fee, which does not make up for the extreme inconvenience. She expected that saying “sorry” in a defensive tone would make up for a complete mess up of what is a very stressful day. She was inflexible and hostile to my family members who were very polite to her. We had no choice but to cancel.

In reply to the reply below: I will be escalating this matter to the ombudsman as I cannot tolerate lies and defamation. Your reply has no bearing to the truth of what happened. You only called back after I had already called to enquire about why there was a delay. You offered a £5 reduction only under extreme duress and then £10 after speaking to my family for several minutes. There was no goodwill gesture. If you indeed have the recordings of the conversation then I would advise that you will be needing them. I was very upset during the call but never used any abusive language. You heard me complaining in the background and jumped on that in an extremely unprofessional way. My family members were extremely polite and got no reasonable reply from you.
In summary I would advise everyone reading to avoid this company for their own benefit.

A quote was sent the same day as the initial survey and all emails and calls were responded to swiftly. Speedy Shift is easily the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I would absolutely never use them again. I booked Speedy Shift for a move based on the high ratings, but going back and actually reading the reviews I found that other people had similar experiences and ran into many of the same issues we faced.

On the day of the move, they were an hour and 40 minutes late and took three times as long as estimated to load our belongings. They also didn’t fit everything in the van so we ended up having to go back later and move stuff ourselves. Once they had finished loading the van, they just drove off. They didn’t tell us they were done or confirm where they were going, so I had to chase after them to make sure someone was at the new property ready for unloading. When they arrived at the new property, the driver told us they they wouldn’t unload our belongings until we had paid the full cost of the move upfront. Nobody had told us this when we made the booking and I’ve never experienced this with movers previously. He phoned the manager, Kay, and she apologised for not informing us, but said they wouldn’t unload without it. In the end, we paid the money before they unloaded. At this point we felt pressured into it and there wasn’t much we could do because they already had all of our stuff on the van. I clarified with Kay on the phone exactly what we were paying for — the move and disassembly and reassembly of our wardrobe. She agreed.

When we made the booking, we clearly stated that we required our wardrobe to be disassembled and reassembled. At no point during the booking process did Speedy Shift or Kay state this would be an issue or not possible. If they had, we would have gone with a different company and avoided this whole mess. When they movers arrived, the driver told us that Speedy Shift didn’t do disassembly of flat pack furniture because it may not go back in exactly the same way. After some back and forth, and explaining we had already paid for it, he phoned Kay who eventually got him to disassemble the wardrobe. We accepted that it may not go back together in exactly the same way, but we were not prepared for what followed. The driver took no care in actually disassembling the wardrobe properly. He ripped pieces of it off and smashed bits apart without even bothering to unscrew it. When he was done, he had just left all of the pieces lying around the floor and had even thrown some of them in the bin. Some of the pieces are still missing and others are noticeably damaged.

When we got to the new property, the driver refused to put the wardrobe back together. At this point we had already paid the cost of the move and confirmed with Kay on the phone that this included disassembly and reassembly, but he still refused to reassemble it. We phoned Kay again and she even agreed that we had paid for reassembly, but this time the driver wouldn’t listen and eventually slammed the van door in my face and drove off while Kay was still on the phone. Kay was apologetic on the phone and offered compensation for the reassembly (which we had already paid for), but we weren’t happy with it. She agreed to call me back the next morning, but never did.

After that I sent some follow up emails, but they never responded to those either. After a couple of weeks, they tried calling once, but I missed it and then they never bothered trying again. I have had to continually chase them up to get into contact. Eventually, I managed to get Kay on the phone. We had a long phonecall in which she argued with me and was dismissive of our issues. Eventually she offered us a higher amount of compensation and we ultimately accepted. They never paid. I sent another follow up email and Speedy Shift responded confirming the date we would receive the compensation. It never appeared. They have since blocked my number and stopped responding to any form of communication. Why bother arguing with me if they had no intention of paying?

The whole experience was an absolute joke. I would avoid Speedy Shift at all cost.
